THE RITUAL / HOW TO PREPARE

The perfect
matcha base.

One small scoop. One bright beginning. Make it traditionally, reach for a frother, or shake it on the way out.

THREE WAYS TO PREPARE YOUR MATCHA

Choose the method
that meets your morning.

METHOD 01

Traditional Whisk

The classic route to a fine foam and a smooth, even cup.

  1. Measure

Add one small scoop of matcha—about 1–2g—to your bowl.

  2. Add water

    Pour in 1 oz / 30 ml warm water at 175°F / 80°C.

  3. Whisk

Whisk quickly in a W motion for 30–40 seconds, until a soft foam appears.

  4. Make it yours

Your base is ready. Enjoy as is or add it to milk, water, or a latte.

METHOD 02

Electric Frother

Fast, effortless, and made for mornings that are already moving.

  1. Measure

Add one small scoop of matcha—about 1–2g—to a tall cup or pitcher.

  2. Add water

    Pour in 1 oz / 30 ml warm water at 175°F / 80°C.

  3. Froth

Keep the frother just below the surface for 20–30 seconds, until smooth.

  4. Build your drink

Pour the finished base into milk, water, a latte, smoothie, or recipe.

METHOD 03

Shake & Go

No bowl required—only a bottle with a secure lid and somewhere to be.

  1. Measure

Add one small scoop of matcha—about 1–2g—to a bottle with a lid.

  2. Add your liquid

Pour in milk, juice, or water, leaving a little room for movement.

  3. Shake well

Close the lid securely and shake for 15–20 seconds.

  4. Ready to enjoy

Drink it straight from the bottle or pour it over ice.
